You have a choice of three trains an hour, at 04, 24 and 44 minutes past each hour, but you need to change at Shenfield in each case. In every case you have 7 minutes between your train arriving and the Southend service departing which should be plenty of time. I have a feeling you will just need to cross the platform, not use a bridge or underpass. However, there will be plenty of announcements and indicators to tell you.
