  1. I don't think you would need one unless a police officer asked for it. I know a true story of a little girl who had a lemonaid stand in Florida and she was fined because she didn't have a permit. It's really sad if you think about it. I would just be cautious, ya know. I don't know how much business you would get. I think maybe $5 a saddle. You have to be carful that you know the best tequniques. You REALLY don't want to ruin a $1000 dollar saddle and then have to buy a new one. It's a really good idea though and I hope it works out for you!

    * be sure you don't use neatsfoot oil! Thats the worst stuff you could use!

  2. I dont think you need a liscence but most people can clean their own saddle

  3. I don't think you need a liscense... but you won't make much money. People don't need to hire someone for saddle cleaning, and not everyone will want you to do it for them

  4. no if you are opening an actual buisness you do but if you clean saddles at local barns for cash then no you dont.

  5. No you don't if you are just doing it for odd jobs ( like car cleaning or lawn mowing)

It sounds like a great idea - I would pay to have someone clean tack for me - somehow I am always putting off doing it because of one thing or another.

Bit like cleaning the car (lol)

    Good luck

  6. I don't think that there is such a license.

  7. Haha what? I never heard about having a licsense to clean saddles. And i have been around horses my whole life.
