Me and my friend want to audition for disney

Question

We don't want to do it for fame, to meet people, i mean those are side things that are great... but I really want to try acting. I've been in a couple school plays and always got lead roles. I did a solo for a school musical in 4th grade i think.

i'm not a very good singer, so i wouldn't wanna go int that direction.

My friend thinks the same as me, the fame and all most likely won't happen, and is okay, but we want to act.

I haven't been in any major plays or anything, but small school plays and i've been background gymnastics for a play at my church.

i'm a very good gymnast and so is my friend if that is any good.

but the main question we have, is when they call you into LA for script readings, what do they make you do?

i tried researching but didn't find much.

Okay, first off...

DON'T AUDITION FOR THE DISNEY CHANNEL SHOWS EVERRRR!!!

(if you have any talent)

but, if you are doing it for some acting experience, then you can definitely  go ahead and audition for them.

They make you read as the character, and answer a few questions, that's it.

I warn you not to audition for Disney shows because they will trap you in a long-term contract for, literally, your entire youth. That makes it so you can never play any other role again =\. Also, if you haven't noticed already, pretty much all the main characters from their live action shows have a music album.

But if you are auditioning for a movie, then you can definitely go ahead with that. If haven't been acting for too long, I wouldn't get my hopes up for one of their Theater movies, but instead for a Disney channel original movie that airs only on tv.

1. get some training (dance,voice acting)

2. community theater

3 make sure you REALLY want this

4 get an agent

this all could take years but go and follow your dreams and always have a backup
