Me and my husband are trying to get pregnant again

Question

I went off the BCP about a month and a half ago and I got on babycenter .com and did the ovaulation caluclator and a ovaulation test they both said I was ovaulating but I got my period. I was just wondering how long it will take my period to get back on a regular cycle after the pill. Because the thing on babycenter can't really help me unless I know excatly how long my cycle is I already have on kid had no trouble concieving her but this was my first time on the pill help please

I was on the pill fopr 3 years and it took me about 3 months to get regular periods again...good luck

I know how you feel :( although I never took the pill we used other methods...just no condoms cuz I was allergic to them. It then happened to us when we least expected it. I had this feeling and he did as well so we took 2 tests and they came back both positive.

I dont believe in any method of birth control if you are over the age of 18 and married or in a committed relationship like myself. Because of the effects that can happen later on down the road. Scarring of the vaginal walls, scar tissue, risks of infections etc. I know because it happened to a friend of mine. And it almost messed her up so bad she wouldn't be able to have kids, but luckily she got pregnant.

But I do wish you a big ole bucket o' baby dust!!!!!

around 2 months but after you get off your birth control your super fertile for about the next 3 ovulations. GET IT GIRL!
