Me and my man wanna go on a cruise next year for a week?

he wants to go in april, because dats his 21st birthday, but i told him thats da most expensive time of the year to vacation because of spring break. he said he only wants to spend $500 on a vacation. im putting money on it too. i wanna know whats the cheapest cruiseline out there? we wanna go on a caribbean cruise, and i wanna show him a lil bit of puerto rico. my second question is when we pay for da cruise, is the price per room, or per person? how much would da cruise be for 2 people??? any advice on da cruising, or a cheap but nice vacation? please lemme know

Carnival is the cheapest but they don't offer a lot of amenities. The prices are per person. So if it says $500 the total would be $1000 plus tax. You may be able to find a cruise for 5 days or less within that price. You also have to think about airfare, gratuities, and other things not covered like alcoholic drinks and sightseeing, which may increase your price. For your budget I would suggest going somewhere in the US or try an island visit. Vegas is nice and inexpensive and the perfect place for someone turning 21. You can often find cheap packages there. Another option would be Puerto Rico or Dominican Republic. You can often find extremely cheap beachfront hotels. Also try to look for package deals. Don't forget that if you go out of the US you will need a passport.
