My mum does really bother me when she talk about her own issues and problems I always listen to her and give her advices sometimes, I just hate this because I want to tell her about my problems too and I feel like I'm the mother here so should I tell her to stop bothering me like that? I'm worried because I know I am the only one who actually listen to her.

Please help, thanks.

PS: I'm sixteen.

  1. you are a great daughter for listening to your mother even though you get tired of it. Open up to her more like a friend rather a daughter. Seems she has already done the same for you by dishing out her dirt. You will become even closer I believe.

  2. The fact that your mother ask you for advice is a great testament to your maturity. At the same time, its pretty bad on your mothers part to dump all that weight on you knowing your a teenager.  The next time your mother approaches you with her baggage, kindly listen, and then force your issues into the conversation, so it can be a feel good experience for both of you. So that you both can converse and sooth each others emotions at the same time with mutual support.

  3. just  tell   here

  4. If it were my daughter and I was doing that to her, I would want her to say:

Ok, last time time we spoke you talked me about this and this problem now I want to talk about mine.
