Just type 'Canadian mining companies' in the search the web and click on any website.  Each one contains links that explain who they are and where they are located and how to contact them for employment.

Sudbury, Ontario.

The city is booming right now.  Hard rock mining - nickel, copper, platinum, iron ore.  The major companies are Vale Inco and Xstrata.  They are hiring like CRAZY right now - especially trades, engineers, and geologists.  There are many contracting companies as well.

While the unemployment rate in Ontario went up this past quarter, the rate is Sudbury has gone down.  There are jobs everywhere - for mining but also for the service industry, retail, etc.
