  1. I should think so, but I'm not entirely sure, you'd have to contact the Immigration People because the rules are extremely strict on this area at the moment, what with so much illegal immigration nowadays.

  2. The laws have changed recently, what she would get is a five year permit to operate a kebab shop.

  3. if you are a resident of the UK ,

British Citizenship can be acquired in the following ways:

lex soli: By birth in the United Kingdom to a parent who is a British citizen at the time of the birth, or to a parent who is settled in the United Kingdom

    the answer is yes if you are a legal resident of the UK ;

Indefinite leave to remain (ILR), is an immigration status granted to a person who does not hold right of abode in the United Kingdom, but who has been admitted to the UK without any time limit on his stay and who is free to take up employment or study, without restriction. When indefinite leave is granted to persons outside the United Kingdom it is known as indefinite leave to enter (ILE).

  4. Why are you so desperate to acquire a British birth certificate? We have enough kebab shop workers here.

  5. As you are both Turkish then your daughter would be classed as a Turkish citizen although she would have a british birth certificate.  When your daughter is 10 years old, you can apply for her to become a british citizen but she will have to give up her turkish citizenship.  Once that has gone through and she is registered as a british citizen you can then apply for a british passport for her.

  6. no offence were over crowded enough, do you have to have her in the UK?

  7. yes. anyone born in the UK gets UK citizenship. but if you come here just to do that, you may get sussed out.

    probably get deported.

  8. Your child would be English , and yes he or she would be entitled to a British passport

  9. No. A child who was born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 will be a British citizen if either the father or the mother is a British citizen. A child who was born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 will also be a British citizen if either the father or mother, although not a British citizen, is legally settled in the United Kingdom. In any other circumstances, a child who was born in the United Kingdom on or after 1 January 1983 will not be a British citizen.

  10. yeah and sometimes you sign on Praiya, an Indian man, and sometimes Nikita from eastern Europe, etc etc. Can't believe people are giving you serious answers here

  11. Forget it.  You won't be getting a visa so that you can have a child on the NHS.  And your child wouldn't be British anyway.

  12. yes but are you willing to risk their lives to do it?

  13. Yes, but Immigration are wise to this kind of thing, it's not as easy as some people think, and if your wife is obviously pregnant when you enter the UK, expect to be questioned closely about your plans for the child's birth.

And the correct phrasing is "My wife and I are Turkish Citizens"

  14. She would get a British birth certificate.  Your child wouldn't get a British passport immediately.  She would get it once you get Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK... and normally, you can only get this after 10 years on legal stay in the country.  But, if your wife wants to give birth in the UK just for the sake of your daughter getting a British passport and birth certificate, then I would discourage you to do so, unless you plan to settle in the UK

  15. Yes any one born any were in the world would get that nationality of were they were born

    Respect

    shaz

  16. no she will not get a british pass port.the babe's name goes on to the mother's pass port.and the babe get's a turkesh pass port not a british one,you will be sent to your turkesh embassy, witha birth ceritificate.

    not good new's.

  17. It depends on your immigration status! If you have Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) when your daughter is born in the UK then she is automatically British. If you don't have ILR or British citizenship then she won't be a British citizen but could be registered as such if you later obtain ILR. Anybody who was born in the UK before 1983 is automatically British (except Diplomats). Anybody born after 1st Jan 1983 will depend on parents' immigration status.
