he wont try anything new. we always take turns choosing places to eat at and he usually chooses red lobster i on the other love most types of food like seafood and not just shrimp or crablegs i like sushi, raw oysters, clams, octopus/squid etc. when he the things that are delicacies to me he makes faces and says how could i eat it me and my other tried to get to try a piece all he did was l**k it and spit it out how can get him to not be so repulsed

Do you mean how can you force him to like foods he doesn't like? Thats a tough one. Try to think of what he could do to force you to eat food you dont like. Then do that to him.

Or just let him eat what he wants and you can eat what you want and you can both be happy.

Well, he's a boy to do this............many: no manners.

Order what you need to order, and do not allow them to even come close to your plate....so you can avoid this. If they repeat this action in the restaurant, I would stop this event, you don't need to put yourself into an indigestion because you're eating under stress. Specially seafood!!!!! be careful.....

This is not the purpose of your arrangement, this supposed to be relax, fun time share with friends...not a time to criticize and raise your blood pressure...think about it.

They can not even ask you what you ordered!!!!!!!!!!!

Apologies, but your friend needs to respect your gourmet taste buds ( I happen to savour the same dishes as yourself). I did experience a situation similar to yours in the past. I stopped inviting my friend to eat with me and started eating out with an acquaintance open to distinctive cuisines.When he started feeling lonely he invited himself over and quietly sat through a dining experience fit for a connoisseur without a peep as some of the people at the table were authorities on food and rubbished the likes of Red Lobster.

My friend now looks forward to our culinary adventures.
