I am going to be a junior on this upcoming school year I am doing alright in my perspective with some of my subjects however I don't seem to progress with mathematics and algebra I took algebra 1 on my freshmen year and barely passed so then I was placed once again in the same class this past sophomore year but I failed all 3 semesters now Im going to have take integrated math as a result.. So my question is that will I stay back one year or what other possibilities are there?

  1. yes you will miss most of higher math classes because you faileded to pass the class. The solution is that you will have to take the failed classes in your case 3 semesters. This year try getting a tutor, staying after school and getting help from teachers and at home get help from parents, siblings Grnadparents whoever that can help you! THE KEY IS TO STAY FOCUSED AND HARDWORK!

  2. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO STAY BACK, BECAUSE MATH IS  ONE OF THE SUBJECTS YOU HAVE TO PASS TO BE PROMOTED.   YOU DEFINITELY NEED A TUTOR.  TALK TO YOUR PARENTS. IF A TUTOR HELPS YOU  UNDERSTAND MATH  &  HELPS YOU GET UP TO SPEED IN THE SUMMER,  & YOU CAN KEEP UP, YOU COULD BE SUCCESSFUL THE NEXT SCHOOL YEAR.

IMMEDIATE TUTORING AFTER SCHOOL WOULD BE EVEN   BETTER.

    GOOD LUCK!

  3. If you are ok with the units in your other areas, you may have time to double up...take both integrated and algebra  at the same time (if your school allows it). Since math hasn't been your favorite subject, it will probably be a rough year for you, but after this year, it will be over...and you won't have to worry about it again.

    Good luck!
