Me taking AP euro - Bad choice ? ?

So I'm turning sophomore this year, and almost EVERYONE who can is taking AP euro for this year! So I feel like I'm not taking the challenge like everyone else. :(

I had a hard time on World history Honors, and BARELY got a B-

and failed almost every tests in that class. Yeah, horrible. I know.

It's mainly becuase I don't understand the lectures and I don't review.

*I only have ONE honors class this year (Lang arts H) which isn't such a big deal. So everyone's reccomending me to take AP euro because my schedule isn't that great.

So should I?

Any reccomendations/tips?

:)

  1. if you don't think you can handle it then don't, it's better to take a class that's challenging but you can handle than to take a class that you aren't ready for. I had no problems with euro last year but I know that some people did. If you barely got a b then you shouldn't take it because it can be challenging at times, ap classes usually are.

Here's something you could try, take an "easier" ap, my chem teacher taught ap enviromental science and she said that it was one of the easier ap's. give a class like that a try and see how you handle that.

  2. Well you need to know that you should not take classes just because your friends are taking them. Theres no chance that you can be with your friends, but there is a chance that you can be stuck with a class you are not interested in. The classes you take should be your decision. If you want a challenge, then you should take it, but if you don't want a challenge then don't take it. It's as simple as that. The main thing to know is to not go along with the crowd, go along with your heart.

  3. maybe if you started reviewing the lectures* that could help.

*A lecture is an oral presentation intended to present information or teach people about a particular subject, for example by a university or college teacher. Lectures are used to convey critical information, history, background, theories and equations. A politician's speech, a minister's sermon, or even a businessman's sales presentation may be similar in form to a lecture.

    hope this helped
