you're a liar lol

no way you're a 5th dAn (not don) in a little over a year. and "martial arts" is too vague a term for a 5th dan to use.

ok...it's a hypothetical question.

i personally feel that only you can make that decision. if you like your traditional art...then stick with it.

or..you can do both...there are lots of things you could learn from mma...like what its really like to really have a real flurry of punches flying at you with malicious intent. not just one or three step sparring.

i think chances are if you were a 5th dan...you'd be pretty happy with your art having stuck wtih it that long. which would be upward of 12 -15 yrs.  id say.  

but if you felt the need to expand on your previous knowledge base...mma would be a good choice.
