Question:

Meacham's Draft Value?

So, Robert Meacham had a great day against a bunch of Cardinal scrubs that will soon be cut. BUT, he was New Orleans' #1 pick in '07 and has a legitimate chance of starting opposite Colston this year.

Where would you put him on your cheat sheet? He probably shouldn't be starting, but he seems worth a late flier to me. I was thinking of ranking him in the low 30's, with the likes of Reggie Brown and Vincent Jackson. Any opinions on that?

  1. Since he played not at all last year, he is hoping to win the 3rd receiver spot. I live close to where the Saints are holding camp so we get a lot of news on them.

I don't think that he will start. WRs usually go to their third year before breaking out. But I am going to shot a late shot at him He has had a very good camp in addition to that game. If you have more time before your draft, see what he does over the next games.

    Good luck.

  2. Yes.  You are right on.  My constituents have him as on the rise and w/ the great game he just had I agree and think he will start opposite Colston.  With NO throwing a lot he should be right where you put him.
