I am trying to get a donated Meade LX90 working for a non-profit educational program. I went thru the set up, but when it gets to finding anything it is way off. I tried training the motors. The Az (side to side) menu seemed to work right, but when I got to dec (up and down) it bombed. No up and down in that mode. It does go up and down when it tries to find North (which I think is off maybe 5-10 degrees) it moves up and aims in that direction so the up and down motor works, but not when in the training mode. Maybe that's the problem? I got the finder aligned with the scope OK. The GPS reports its working OK. I reset the time which was off. Any ideas you have would be great.ThanksDen
