Meal Numbers?

Question

Doing marketing for a new seafood restaurant in Burlingame, CA. Owner is requesting to add Food Item Number on menu, so customers can order by number instead of meal name. Semi formal resturant, inside and sidewalk seating available.

where have u been? they do that all the time. especially in asian resturants. they go by catergory then have a whole listing of numbers. like number 1 noodles. number 5 rice plate and so on and so on. its the waitressses job to rememberize the menus and specials. its a good idea.

Try something different, maybe item #101 instead of the usual #1.

Actually it is a good idea...I have a lot of customers that are afraid to pronounce some of my menu items and say "I'll have the top one" as opposed to butchering Au Poivre
