  1. Try a meatloaf dish with rice instead of mashed potatoes and incorporate the salsa in the meat

  2. Nachos...Pizza...Omelet...

  3. Salsa by its very nature is a topping and not usually a primary ingredient in a meal.  As a good appetizer, try using a block of Philly cheese covered with a can of chili, salsa, shredded cheddar and onions if you like.  Microwave for six to eight minutes and offer with chips or crackers (Frito Scoops work great).

  4. Google it!

  5. Any kind of dish? Traditional, simple quesidillas are the way to go. Try this:

Get yourself some tortillas. Depending on how many people are going to be there, you can use your judgement to determine how much of each ingredient to put in. Mind you: the whole purpose of these snacks is to be cheesey and gooey!

So, you've got your tortillas. Buy some blocks of cheese (you know, those long ones that are good for cheese and crackers!) in the flavors of Monterey Jack, Cheddar, and Motzerella. Shred them yourself (or, go the cheap way, and buy already shredded cheese - but to me, freshly shredded cheese is always best!), and spread them evenly on the tortilla. I suggest layering the cheeses, making three layers of the different cheeses, so they will be thick and chewy. Next, get some good veggies. Try peppers and onions and mushrooms. Or, you can always get fresh chicken or beef to put on it. Once you've piled the tortilla, get another one, and smother the top with refried beans, sour cream, and taco seasoning. Place this tortilla ontop of the cheesey one to form a sandwich (so the side with the refried beans and sour cream and taco seasoning is face down into the cheese tortilla).

Place your concoction in the oven at 350 degrees and watch the magic happen. It shouldn't take long, only about 5-8 minutes, depending on your oven.

Once melty and crunchy, take out your quesidilla and cut into as many sections as you'd like.

Now, this is where the salsa comes in. Make a dip, half salsa, half sour cream, and serve with the quesidillas. Make sure to stir up the salsa and sour cream really well so you get this awesome, creamy salsa flavor. Put some shredded cheese on top, and serve! It's a lot more quick than it sounds, and it's delicious!

  6. Spicy Mac & Cheese-- Mix Veleta and Salsa. Pour over cooked pasta. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.

And you can add salsa to many crockpot recipes like Pulled Pork, Beef, or Chicken.

  7. Gnocchi with cheesy salsa sauce.  Heat the salsa in a small pot.  Add your fav cheese.  I like cheddar cheeses.  Stir until melted.  If you want it creamier, then add some milk until the desired consistency is achieved.  If your salsa doesn't already have a little heat, add a half teaspoon of Cheyenne pepper, ground black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder to taste.

In a pot boil some water and add a little salt.  When it is boiling, add some Gnocchi (potato dumplings) and let boil.  You'll know they are done when they start to float.  Take the pot off heat, drain the water, and top with your salsa/cheese mixture.  Enjoy!
