  1. Not between Lille to Paris.  They do on most other longer trips.

The actual list of trains and departure times is available at www.tgv.com/FR/

    ((found down the following path:

page d'accueil (welcome page) > Voyage Pro > Services sur mesure > les exclusivites...> Restauration ))

  2. No, it only takes an hour on the TGV. Its best to find a lovely boulangerie in Lille buy a croissant or pain au chocolat and that with a coffee....voila! Breakfast on the the train...

p.s make sure you go to the right station at Lille (there are 2).

  3. Bonjour Morgana,

    thanks fr yr question.

    very interesting one. congrats !

My name is Frederic, I'm french, living in Paris and teaching french to foreigners. My passion is to teach and to guide my students through the beauty of language and the beauty of Paris.

That's why I am pleased to let you know SNCF doesn't operate any food / bar service between Lille and Paris ( for many reasons). There was one a looooong time ago wut it is now over.

my advice is that you have yr breakfast at Lille Europe (if you leave from there).

=> hope this was helpful to you.

As I said before, I'm french, and my passion is to teach french.

That's why I have created with other french teachers based in Paris a powerfull website that will help you to better understand french language and Paris news. Please check  :

do not ehsitate to let me knwo yr comments, what you like, what you don't like.

  4. No, on TGV trains you have to go to the bar somewhere in the middle of the train, which sells overpriced sandwiches and sometimes a few hot meals (but they go quickly). Since it's a morning train, they will most likely have breakfast food. Croissants, chocolate croissants and hot drinks. Service at your seat is available in first class on some TGV only for trips of at least 2 hours so it won't apply to your trip.

You can also have or buy breakfast at the train station in Lille if you prefer.

If it's your first time taking the train in France, you must know that you need to punch your ticket in one of the punching machines in the station before taking the train. Also, you must keep your train ticket with you anywhere you go on the train in case you are asked for proof of purchasing a ticket. Have a nice trip!
