Mean mother-in-laws

Question

how come some of them just don't like their daughter-in-laws for no reason?? shouldn't they be happy for their sons for finding someone...my mother-in-ln-law calls me trash and treats me like dirt everytime I come over....she's even rude when she comes to our house and I didn't do anything ot her....she gives me dirty looks and throws things at me when I ask her to hand me something....It's really annoying...she called me an ugly b*tch and I try to be nice to her...why are some of them like that??...I avoid her as much as possible but when special occasions come around and the family has to come together she acts the same way...

everytime I start to talk or something she'll cut me off or tell me to shut up......what should I do??

My mother in law is not so in your face but more passive aggressive but believe me she's evil and won't let me ever take her baby away.  In reality you would think as a Mom she would be happy for her son but no.  She's upset that she can't control his life anymore.  You can do what I did.  I don't call her or see her if I can help it.  When I do see her I make sure I'm never alone (that's when she's truly evil) and there's always a buffer.  Also, get your man to confront his Mom.  I told my husband that she'll be gone soon enough (she's 80) but I'll be around for the next 40-50 years or so.  I told him to have my back or hit the pavement.  You're the wife - you win - tell your husband to talk to his Mom and treat you with respect.  Good luck

maybe she doesnt trust you with her son. I heard spromblems like this before.and its quiet painful. Talk to your husband and he might as wel talk to his mother about whats up. I dont know what to do but this is all I can come up with.
