umm like in a dream?it could mean a number of things,like your inner child is lost inside you,or you are still a child and your in a wide world alone...but like in real life?it means you have crappy parents

Water is the symbol for emotions.  "Lost at sea" would suggest being abandoned or adrift for three months as a child.  Sounds like there may have been some abandonment when you were a child; it was for a short period of time, maybe just a summer, and you were still protected as you "stayed in a boat."
