Meaning behind dreams of ex-girlfriend?

Question

yeah so, the other night me and a couple friends had some...man chatting time, and like all conversations like this one, it ended up on the subject of girls and such.

I don't if it had anything to do with this, because I didn't mention my ex.

Anyway, that night I had a full glass of OJ, and I always had some crazy a dreams when I do this....And if I really think about it, I'm pretty sure every time I've had a dream of my ex I believe I've had orange juice before hand...

I don't know for sure, but I'm going to experiment.

My latest dream was very abstract,

It dealt with me, and a lot of doors.

I think they were doors anyway.

Some kind of passage way.

But through each door was like a different path,

Like, each one lead to a different form of my ex.

I think one symbolized the whole, me never getting her back,

Another was me finding her to be someone I won't love,

But the last one specifically focused on a lighter side,

I almost had her,

but like all of these dreams,

I woke up

Is it possible you have unresolved issues with the relationship or maybe she was the one you didn't want to get  away?  Food for thought ,  something you need to work through in time.

I think you did a good job of interpreting the dream already..there are many paths or avenues you can look at when thinking of your ex. Even the order of what u described..never getting her back, not being someone you can love and last but not least..the lighter side of her..the one you'd like to remember her by. And of course you stopped short in the dream and woke up. Because you aren't meant to be together. So your subconcious won't allow you to tempt yourself with it. It also suggests you are ready to move on.

The many doors..you are trying to find your way in life..have choices to make....because you all were tALKING about your exes...your brain used her image to show you different parts of your ex that you are looking for in a woman..showing you your fears...not being loved back.....afraid that you won't get another one to love you...the dreams are just expressing your fears of a relationship.....HUGS!!

could be subconsciously still attached to her. I know that I have had dreams of my ex's. some very dramatic. others just stupid. ma-by you should get a book about dreams might be able to explain it.

I think this is your mind toying with your emotions. Maybe you feel like you didn't do enough to stay with her, or you don't know why things ended with her.

Hmmm....maybe deep inside, you still have feelings, issues which have yet to settle.

Who initiated the break off? you or the ex? If it's you, maybe the essence of you is clamouring for a re-track? If it is she, then it looks like you were still standing where you were when she left. This is my two cents worth.  :)

When we break up, it does not mean all love is gone. To me you still love her in certain way. Different passage and different path leads to different solutions. If you really miss her that much, try to patch up and i think she misses you too. Or else just let go, and enjoy your life. Good luck!!

whenever we dream of someone, its because they are unconsciously on our mind. The doors represent struggles, and its almost a journey trying to find this former love of yours. the number three, the three doors you had to choose from, is a requiring symbol. three is a powerful number in dreams and interpretations. you probably still love this girl ty, because she is on your mind when you dont know she is.

And the OJ, maybe all that sugar before bed gave your brain extra energy for that movie behind your eyes.
