  2. Reverses are when you lay the cards and one is upside down. Some people (or websites, like Milly posted) interpret the upside down ones differently.

    In order to properly interpret a Tarot spread, the interpreter needs to know the question that was asked and the lay out. If this is a spread, just know the meaning of the cards will do nothing.

    Also, the "meaning" posted for cards will vary according to the interpreter and the *ahem* website.
