Meaningful Quotes?

Question

I want a meaningful quote that explains me. I know you do not know me but I want to know your favorite meaningful quote and if it is hard to understand then its meaning...I am mainly looking for ones by old authors (shakespeare, etc) that will express my feelings on life in a to the point but mysterious way that not everyone will understand.

I realise that's two quotes, but they're two of my favourites. I have plenty more but I think these two will do for now. The first one is about being non agressive and not judging people. It can also be taken in an anti-capital punishment way.

I like the second one because it's more all encompasing. It's about being in charge of your own destiny and making the best of whatever life throws at you.

These are my favourites;

For me this one is all about trying to remember that; as well as having an allegiance and belonging to those closest to you, you also have a responsibility to yourself. Great rewards come to those that can listen to and truly understand their own thoughts and have the strength to go againts the crowd if that's what is desired.

And this one is all about learning new things and taking on new challenges. In life most of your goals can not be achieved with ease, you have to work and learn on your way to achieve them.
