Measure miles online?

hi peeps i'm trying to measure mileage on line as i'm running but dont know how far. i've tryed google map but it only does one address to another.

It will also give you the walking milage giving you public footpaths rather than main roads

Try Google Earth. Under tools, there's a feature called ruler. Click on it and then select either a line, or a path to draw on the map.
