  1. all I know is that 102 grams of falling figs is one fig newton

  2. Find something that weighs 3.6 ounces (109 g) and put it in your hand, while standing on Earth's surface.

    The object will push down on your hand with a force of 1 newton.

  3. 1Kg is 9.81N on the height that we live on.

  4. its called a BERT NEWTON

  5. Newtons have the dimensions:

    Kg * m/s^2

    Newton is a measure of force, the equation of which is:

    F = m*a (force equals mass times acceleration)

    So, the person above is correct when they say something that has a mass of 1 Kg on Earth weighs 9.81 N

    This is because the average acceleration at Earth's surface is 9.81 m/s^2...

    F = 1 Kg * 9.81 m/s^2 = 9.81 Kg*m/s^2 = 9.81 N
