Question:

Measurement for a sangria recipe help?

I found an older recipe for sangria and it calls for a 4/5 quart bottle of wine. Does anyone know what the actual measurement for that is? I also found a recipe for a whiskey punch that called for one 4/5 quart bottle of whiskey. Is this just what we'd refer to as a fifth? Thanks!

  1. For super simple and relatively cheap sangria... Get a bottle of Carlo Rossi sangria that is already made, and about an hour before serving throw in some diced up fruit and let it sit.  I like apples, oranges, pineapples, and grapes!

  2. 750 ml or 24 ounces

  3. s***w those measurments girl think with your head is a little sinch more or less going to make a defference?

for the wine, divide it in to fifths with your hand...estimate.

pour it all it except for ONE of those divisions.
