Measuring Pool Break

Question

Does anybody know how I can measure my pool break?

I once went to a Vegas National Event and it had a break contest.

It had this thing where u hit the cue ball into a ball on the spot attached to springs and stuff.

Depending on the game mine is between 22 and 34 mph

I have done a hard shot just to see 43 is the fastest yet,but no control what so ever,Way to hard control is the key not power
