Meat chickens and egg laying chickens.?

ok for school in agraculture we are learning pultry, and we get to choose 2 chickens one an egg layer and one a meat chicken, what would be a good tasting meat chicken or gets fat quick? and whats a good chicken that lays fast eggs like every 26 hours? cause ive seen one on the video i watched at school today on it.

White leghorns make good layers & red leghorns are good meat chickens.Domineckers are also good for meat.
