Mechanical Engineering... Is it a good choice?

Question

I've got an offer in mechanical engineering and I'm very happy to get it as I worked really really hard for it...

But the thing is I'm interested in designing, ever since I was a child I've developed an interest in arts, computer and digital graphics, even hand drawing, whether its vector, pixel, 3D or just a pencil and a paper, I love all forms of design.. and would love to be able to use all these to design machines and what not...

So the question is, Mechanical Engineering, is it the right choice for a guy who is interested in design like me?

yes of course cause  all other branches r depend on mechanical

I work in aviation as an electrical engineer and most of my co-workers are mechanical guys. There is tons of design stuff to do in aircraft engineering. Look into it the pay is great and with the current anti-terrorism culture around the world military aircraft design pays awesome.

Take the job.  I'm a mechanical engineer myself, and I get payed a year about $100,000- $120,00.  It's a fairly hard job, but it's worth it.
