Mechanism of aeroplane landing and take-off?

How do aeroplane take off and land...wht is the mechanism behind it....

plz provide indept info......or share a link...

Hydraulic system to move flaps, wings landing gear, breaks (when landing) etc.

Of course we have the engine (full throttle or reverse)

The mechanisms I primarily use are my hands and feet.  My hands manipulate the control yoke and thrust levers while my feet manipulate the rudder pedals.
