Mechatronics? Please help - I need advice!

I am a 23 year old business graduate and was wondering if it would be possible for me to gain a qualification in mechatronics at college (http://www.moray.ac.uk/moray-college/what/course-detail.php?course=107) if I am not great at mathematics and physics? I have a very basic understanding of the two subjects as I studied them at high school around 6 years ago but am worried that it may be too complex for me? I am prepared to put in the work to learn the subject but am looking for realistic advice regarding my chances of passing the course.

I graduated last year in Business Management from Strathclyde University but now want a complete career change and am trying to get into a position with an oil/gas company who recommended the course to me.

  1. i am in America so school requirements are pretty different, but looking over the program, it doesn't look to be too difficult. it is a one year degree (called a diploma here) so they are not going to spend a large amount of time teaching math, writing or general ed. this program will focus on teaching skills you will need in the workplace. i have a 4 year degree in electrical engineering technologies. it has considerably less math than a strict engineering degree because there are better was to teach a person about how to do something than starting at the VERY BEGINNING.

do it. it will be easier than that 4 year business degree you got and probably allot more fun.
