Med for baby? please help me?

so anyways my baby had a ear infection and we went to the doctor this morning and they put her on amox clav es 600mg ans any of your babys been ob that before and how were they. she is 8 months old sorry first time mommy

she will feel better in a few days. Amox can cause diarrhea. hope your little one feels better soon!

My baby (5 months old) has already had two ear infections & he was on Amoxicillan 500 mgs. He ate a little less & had some runny bowel movements but nothing serious. Good luck.:)

The med you are talking about is just a normal dose of antibiotic that a doctor would prescribe for an infection of many kinds. Your child's ear infection should start feeling better within 72 hours (3 days). You do need to give the entire medicine though, because with antibiotics if you don't finish the medicine all the infection will not be killed and it will come back. good luck.
