Medea to nail a victory in the Davisbakerycaribbean Maiden Fillies´ Stakes
On 30th April, 2012, Windsor will host the Class 5 Davisbakerycaribbean Maiden Fillies´ Stakes, where fourteen runners will compete over a distance of 1 mile and 67 yards on a surface that has been labelled heavy for a purse
of £2,264.
Medea, daughter of Danehill Dancer, out of mare Scoop Of Gold, will compete in the second start of her career.

The three-year-old chestnut filly began her career on 6th September, 2011, and sealed it with an incredible finish as a runner-up.
The Sir Michael Stoute trained filly was teamed up with jockey, Jimmy Fortune, with the odds of 9 to 4 in the British Stallion Studs Supporting British Racing E B F Maiden Fillies' Stakes (Div I) at Lingfield. She lost by 3 ¼ lengths to race favourite,
Ihsas.
This will be the seasonal debut for the young runner, who is owned by Cornerstone Thoroughbreds, as she will break from post 12, under jockey, Ryan Moore.
Looks Like Rain, who is under the training of Michael Bell for owner, D.J. Burke and Peter Alderson has an opportunity to improve in his race and bring out her hidden potential.
The daughter of Medicean, out of Hippogator, failed to impress in her career maiden, as she finished an unplaced eleventh in the  Tyrrell and Company Maiden Fillies' Stakes at Newmarket on 15th July, 2011, where she was mounted
by jockey, Eddie Ahern.
The chestnut’s filly improved greatly in her next race, as she finished sixth in the Call 08000 521321 For All Aintree Prices Maiden Stakes (Div I) at Warwick on 9th April, 2012.
Three of the fourteen runners will be making their debut in this race, and their performance can only be evaluated after the race.
The speculation is that Medea will bag a victory in this race based on her previous performance.

She has an opportunity to nail this race, whereas Looks Like Rain might finish as a runner-up, closely behind her.
