Medela Symphony breast pump question

Question

I rented a Medela Symphony breast pump, Ive been using it since I delivered my baby a week ago...When during pumping should I be using the Let Down feature?

i used the medela manual pump. but i could pump three 4 oz bottles off each breast. then it got to the point i could just squeeze my breast and milk would come out. it depends on how your milk flow is

hi, yes, use the letdown feature for sure.  At first you will not get much milk but he more you pump over the weeks, the more you will get.  I was frustrated at first but stuck with it and got good results after a few months.  It was great when I went back to work.  It's a good pump.  congrats on your baby!  I would be happy to tell you more if you have other questions.  Hope this helped. :-)

Once you start to express milk...I think all that button does is change it from stimulation mode to expression mode sooner than 2 minutes.
