Medellin Colombia to Panama City Panama, cheap dog travel 25pounds dog?

I bought 2 adault tickets to panama City Panama and i need to bring my dog with me! He is a 25 pound Boarder Colie. He has all his shots and is legalized to go to Panama. I need someway to send him that is cheap. The same airline said cargo and they want $380.00 dollars. That coast more then my round trip ticket! Are there any CHEAP ways to send my Dog Safly and Cheap?

Since you belong to PETA why not protect your dog yourself and take the bus from Medellin to Buenaventura and then a boat to Panama city? There is no overland cargo between Colombia and Panama since there is no passage at the darien gap. I also thought if you were a PETA member that your animals came first Uber Alles so why worry about a measley 380.00 dollars for a cherished pet? Or, maybe, just leave the dog at home....
