Media is responssible for our deviant behaviour?

how can i prove this by asking question. what kind of question shoul i ask to prove it to the other group.

its like a debate we have to prove by askink question from the witness that yes media is the source of our deviant behaviour in society.

plzz help.

i'm going to play devil's advocate:

ask them whether animals are deviant??  they arent because animals do not have access to media (that they can understand)

they rely on instincts and natural behavior, and although they occasionally kill each other(within species) it usually the fault of  heat of the moment rage... which is not deviant because it is not contrived. deviance is the result of deviant IDEAS and are LEARNED,  media is the great exporter of ideas of any kind as long as they are profitable. therefore, though not the whole source of deviance a great contributer.

I would approach it from the perspective that the media plays a big role in our behavior and point out the reality that advertisers wouldn't spend millions of dollars advertising products and services if it didn't influence people to spend their money on them even if social values or common sense say we shouldn't. If this holds true, then it is plausible to presume that media depictions of deviant behavior influence our decisions.  Another example is the Columbine shooting, which is a classic example of media influencing the kids involved in the shootings.  They patterned their behavior after music and movies they had watched.
