Medicaid and what they cover?

Does medicaid cover a place that is "in network" for medicaid but out of network for your first insurance?

My first insurance will pay for out of network after a 1500.00 deductible is met. Will medicaid pay for that?

Medicaid will pay last after any other insurance as long as the provider accepts medicaid.

The provider will need to bill the primary insurance for the denial or the EOB showing the amount was applied to the out of network deductible.Then bill medicaid for consideration of the charges.

It should.  Before using the provider, however, I would get it approved by Medicaid and have them tell you directly that it will be covered.  Remember to get name and extension of the person you speak with.
