Medicaid insurance?

i was wondering is medicaid insurance tranferable to different states or do I need to re apply again to the state I will be transferring to for the elegibility process?Any answers would be a great help.THanks

Medicaid is run by each state on a state by state basis.  You'll have to reapply to the new state, when you move.

Each State administers it's own Medicaid program. You will have to reapply with the new State.

You will have to re-apply in the state you are moving to as well as notify your old state so they can shut down your case there.  Although partially funded by the federal government, each state runs their own medicaid system with slightly different rules and income limits.
