Medicaid stuff?

I swear. Medicaid changed my medicaid from full medicaid to transistional and they said it would be fine until January of 2009. and that i wont have to recertify in april like i had to before. I heard this from 3 people at the office here in cruces. Then Today I get a call from medicaid the ones that pay for the services that im getting a packet in the mail that i have to recertify, and i called them and told them the caseworker and supervisor said i dont have to till 09 and they said dont matter yes you do or u will lose coverage for awhile till u reapply. Then i called teh caseworker number and she didnt answer but the girl upfront said i shouldnt have to till 09 and the other medicaid people dont know what there talking about that THESE PEOPLES comptuer says jan 09 is my recertify date..UGH!!

My goodness! Look like they are at it again.  You need to get in touch with your case worker and have this "clarified" and get an answer in writing.  If you Can't get through call for her/his supervisor, if still you can talk to the supervisor, ask to talk to the manager, and if still you can't talk to the manager, then bring it up to your county supervisor.  Bring the problem to him/her ... and you'll see how everybody will jump and roll the red carpet to you. Don't waste time with the clerks or telephone operator. Get this clarified in writing before you loose your benefits, and then it will be hard to get it back on.

Don't let your case be discontinued and then have to re-apply, You will then get penalized for something you didn't do. Good Luck.
