Does anyone know if dermatologic glycolic peels or any lazar therapy is eligible for FSA claims?

  1. I have never had a client tell me the IRS audited my spending from my medi-flex account.  I work in customer service for an angency that has of 29,000 policy holders.


  2. Yes, it is.  Cosmetic treatments ARE eligible, even though they aren't covered under insurance.

  3. If the treatment is cosmetic you cannot use FSA funds, otherwise you can. You can use FSA funds for anything that can be deducted from your taxes. Here is the IRS guide for what can be deducted: http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p502.pdf
