Question:

Medical Release Form Question?

by  |  earlier

0 LIKES UnLike

I was involved in a car accident three years ago which wasn't my fault. I have asked the insurance company for a medical release form, so I may be reimbursed all the money spent because of the accident. To this date, they haven't sent me a medical release form without a response. What is the time limit before I cannot receive money from this accident? Thanks for reading and any replies will be appreciated. Thank you

  1. Under normal policies, you have 2 years to settle with the liable parties insurance or an uninsured motorist claim and 3 years to submit to your own policy for medical bills.

Mind you, this is under normal policies in CA.

  2. In most states, it's two years.   But it does vary by state.

It's highly likely that it's too late, which is why they aren't responding to you.

  3. The ONLY way to get a helpful answer is to tell us what state you are in. Otherwise, you will not get a answer that helps.

Please edit the question to tell us what state you are in.
