I am currently enrolled in an at-home study course to obtain my certification.  Years ago, I was employed as a medical transcriptionist so I am familiar with the requirements and duties that are associated with this career.  However, I am really shocked to see how in-depth this course is.  With that being said, I am so worried about the exam and what it entails in terms of anatomy, lab, xray, meds, etc.  I have seen all of the study aids available and want to invest in them.  Is this my nerves, or is this exam as difficult as I am thinking it is?  Please tell me if this covers the basics or if this exam really goes as deep as the study guide.  Right now I feel like I could pass licensure for M.D.  Please, give me an ideal of the contents of the exam from your point of view.
