Only the tops of the hands have this pattern, the bottom is normal, and this pattern does not appear anywhere else on the body.

What condition is this?

  1. This looks like an allergic reaction to me of some sort. Get it checked out by a professional, as I'm not correctly trained to deal with it.

  2. Michael K can I firstly thank you for posting your question and pictures and Dat93 for finding out what my skin condition is - I have worried about this on my arms and legs for 2 long years - and that's what it seems I've got - thanks Dat93 -I also have an autoimmune disease.

Michael K - I hope your hands improve.

    Take care.

  3. This is known as Livedo Reticularis I have this as well

It can come and go in some, but I have itpermanentlyy in various places, such as legs, wrists feet and torso. Mine is due to an auto immune disease. The above link explains it well.

  4. It looks like contact dermatitis to me. It looks like you've touched something you are allergic to. Take an antihistamine, keep the area clean in the meantime and Show it to your GP if it does not go away

I don't think it's Livedo Reticularis, this usually appears on the legs, torso, arms and wrist, not really hands. Or not limited to just the hands, like I said, it's hard to tell without seeing in person, let your GP have a look

The rashes do not appear to be purplish discoloration.. It definitely appears to be miniscule pinpoint red rashes.

It doesn't look like  psoriasis; herpes zoster or shingle.  It could be a localized drug reaction to some cream, or  lotion  or oral meds of which antibiotics are well known for ..  Thereby contact dermatitis of some sort.

It could be eczema; and heat rash. or rosacea. .Or it could even be poison ivy. rash.    Depends if it's itchy.
