Medical assistant volunteer?

What does it do exactly?

I plan to volunteer as a medical assistant (something to relate to my course as well - PT), and at the fill out form, they are asking me what field, so I want to check on that.. they weren't asking for my resume anyway.. but I am only a college student - not yet a graduate. (eighteen yrs old)

does a medical assistant volunteer need to be graduate of any medical/rehabilitation course or something?

Depends on what you're going to do.  Anyone with a strong stomach and calm disposition can talk to blood donors and hand out drinks for them afterwards.
