Medical examination for nursing?

i'm starting my nursing course nxt month and have to have a medical examination just wanted to know what it would involve??

When I had mine it was very basic.  The nurse checked my immunization record to make sure I had everything.  The doctor gave me about a 5 minute physical and asked if I had anything mental or physical that would keep me from fulfilling nursing duties.  Then I had my TB skin test and that was the end of it.

~I am a CMA and ours is basically the same as nursing - up-to-date immmunizations, tb skin test, doc looks at your mouth does vitals, listens to breathing. I think there is also a drug screening~
