I am 28 now but when I was 5 and 6 years old my left leg would completely go out on me randomly. I would be walking along and all of a sudden my leg would go out and I would be on the ground. I went to the doctor but they never had an answer of what it could have been. After a while it just stop and never happened again. I am concerned because I have a son now who is 4 and if the same thing happens to him I want to have answers. I don't want to be flying blind like my parents were. If anyone who has knowledge of this happening in growing boys I would great apprcieate your input. I know how tramatic it was for me.

  1. Uhmm.. well just ask a doctor again. there has to be some reason. it sounds like random leg spassims.  something may be off with your circulation.

    Good luck!

  2. well my leg gives out on me some times but it never made me fall to the ground.... but i would think ask your son if it has happened to him and if so just take him to a doc. im sure thay can help some how by now

  3. its probably just a genetic circulation problem get a doctor to check how his blood flow does in his legs there might  be something they can do

  4. It sounds like a nerve problem. It could be that a nerve in your spine was over sized as a child and vertebrae discs would sometimes pinch it completely shut. This nerve was passed on to your son genetically. I would suggest that you see a neurologist.
