Hi, I want to know whether the medical reimbursement claim (up to Rs.15,000 in a FY) is a government policy or company policy. The reason I am asking is I was working in Company A between April and July and joined company B in August. Company B says that I cannot produce bills any bills dated before August as a part of medical reimbursement. I had incurred a lot of medical expense between April and July. More than Rs.5000 (1250x4) and want to submit the remaining bills with the new company. It is possible? Thanks

  1. no sir, the new company will NOT pay for the medical claims for the periond when u were not even working with them. how can they and why should they pay for the period when u were not even employed by them.

to me this is plain common sense.  i have worked for 20 different companies during my working life and so , i know the rules very well
