Question:

Medical report help?

I am listening to a medical report and the doctor says (or what sounds like) "The "claymen" or "clayment" was identified by a photo i.d.

then the same word in this sentence:

"The history was taken by the "claymen" and the mother.

What word is he saying? I know it's not "claymen" but that's what it sounds like.

  1. Could it be 'claimant' as in somebody who is claiming? This might be something to do with medical insurance perhaps.
