  1. Forget about the colour blindness. It may prevent you from certain employments but will not deny you entry to any of the armed forces. Most of the other conditions mentioned will though.

  2. Asthma (depends how servere this is)

    Diabetes's

    colour blind

    Epilepsy

    Heart murmurs.

  3. Well, you basically have to be physically able.

There are thousands of conditions that can keep from from getting in, way too many to list here. From flat feet to asthma to missing a hand to uncorrectable eye sight.

In a nutshell, you have to be able to complete all tasks expected of an average able bodied person: do push-ups, do pull-ups, run 2 miles, read a book, hammer a nail, turn a wrench, pick up 40 lbs, etc.

Think of what an average able bodied 18 year old can do. Can you do that? Then you are probably qualified.

To give you a better idea, I went and looked at the medical manual for the Navy (just the navy) and it is over 1,000 pages long. The chapter on eye sight requirements is 9 pages.

The medical requirements also vary by what specific program you want to apply for.

  4. You must be g*y and not have STD's due to the regular (spit)roasting you will have to endure.
