Medical schools?

i heard after highschool many people go to overseas medical schools because you do not need to go to college before hand. can anyone send me names of some of the schools you can go to straight after highschool in pakistan, or ireland, or the UK or anything...

If you are interested in ultimately practicing in the US, be sure to check with your state (and other state) licensing boards to find out what they require of foreign medical graduates. I know in my state, graduates of foreign medical schools are often requrired to take years of coursework and clinical work before practicing in the US.

Plus, there is a lot to be said for well rounded well educated people becoming doctors; 4 yrs of undergraduate work might go a long way to making you a great healer instead of just a well trained medic.
