Medical transport from Columbia to USA?

My friend injured himself diving into a pool in Columbia South America. He is now paralized and is getting worse. I found a Co. that can ship him back here (he needs a doctor to transport with him on the flight) but the cost is over $20,000

Can anyone help? We do not have that kind of money...
